God is Great, Life is Amazing, My Family is the BEST!
Yesterday evening, Abner and I faced what could have been one of our biggest fears….we took Kaylee to the E.R. around 5:30pm. While playing with Daddy, she fell backwards from the sitting position, hitting her head on the counter top and some keys. She immediately tried to cry, but wouldn’t catch her breath for about a minute or so. She began to turn blue and black from her face and mouth, putting Abner and I in complete shock. She got to the point where she was beginning to close her eyes as if she was going to pass out. We stood there with her, trying to keep her awake and trying to get her to breath. Still not crying, it looked as if she had finally got a little breath of air. I tried talking to her and getting her to react, but it seemed all she wanted to do was close her eyes. Not sure if she was just tired or if something more severe had happened, considering she hit her head pretty hard, Abner and I decided to rush her to the clinic. Upon arriving at the only open clinic they told us they could not treat her because it was head injury and needed to take her to the ER. The 15 minute drive to the ER seemed to be an eternity, trying to get to Kadlec Hospital in Richland quickly, at rush hour, is simply impossible!! Thank God, that a few minutes before we arrived, Kaylee began to react to our calls and smile and giggle like normal. Once we arrived at the ER, we were seen by two nurses and a Dr. within 20 minutes. Everything was ok, and she was going to be just fine! Thank YOU GOD!!!! I praise God, b/c things could have gone much worse, she could have fallen from the countertop to the floor, or she could have cut her head with the keys she landed on. Upon many “could haves,” God was our rescue, and allowed nothing at all to happen to her! Abner and I have never been so scared in our lives and we are still trying to get over the shock of seeing our little girl not reacting in our arms…we thank you all for your continued prayers towards our family.
Here is a picture of Kaylee from the day before the incident, when she turned 10 months. As you can see, she is just getting more and more beautiful as the days pass!

I was a simple girl, passing life by, not really getting anywhere. Then I met this man, he completely turned my life around. He taught me that the only thing I should fear in life is God, everything else is easy to overcome; it's all a mind game. This man, he puts me on a pedastool and offers me the world. He changed my world when he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I now live the life of the happiest woman in the world, with the world's best husband and the most beautiful daughter ever imaginable. Without these two, life would be...well...boring! Abner and Kaylee are my world, and together, we serve the Lord, all Mighty, and as a family we will one day, rise to heaven and sing his praises for eternity. Wow!!! I remember when that happened to Jonah when he was little. We were at Dad’s house, guys were playing B-Ball and Jonah had just started to walk, he got away from me and someone ran into him, he hit so hard on the cement that I thought that he had cracked his head open!!! He was fine I think it took us 2 weeks to get over it!!!
So Glad nothing happened!!! Praise God!!
