Like I mentioned earlier, Kaylee is growing by the second, everyday she seems to be learning new things, it’s sooo stinken cute! Over the last two weeks, she’s improved her crawling, walking across the sofa, waving, shaking her head no, and among many other things, the cutest so far has to be her new “kissies.” She was at first giving out kisses with her mouth open, over the last couple of days, she has learned to smooch them! Sooo cute I’m so thankful to God for such a beautiful, healthy baby girl, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Lord, b/c among all the complications that could of come from her being premature, she is just perfect! All the glory and victory goes to God, and God alone! I’m also very thankful to God for giving us the funds to be able to have cameras in abundance to capture all of these priceless moments!!!

So no name chosen yet for our little man….Daddy and I still can’t decide/agree! He seems to be growing big though, I feel him moving all the time We have another ultrasound next month to check my fluids and make sure everything is just how it should be

Kaylee is doing absolutely fabulous…she is growing and learning soooo much everyday, she never seizes to amaze us! She loves to wave “hi” and is getting more and more mobile and active, it’s sooooo much fun!! We love her more and more everyday. Here is a new video of Kaylee and Daddy playing, hope you enjoy!

What a year 2009 was!! The Lord blessed us in so many ways; we had some moments that were absolutely amazing like the birth of our first baby and the discovery of our second pregnancy, and we had some very difficult moments like the passing of our Grandpa Santos.

In August of 2008, Abner and I learned that we would soon be parents to our first child, although unexpected, we were absolutely thrilled. Due date was set for May 1, 2009…God had other plans. We discovered in January that my fluids were low and so the Dr. kept a close monitor on baby and I and decided we would have to do a C-Section on April 3, 2009…exactly 4 weeks before due date! Glory be to God, that Kaylee Elise Garza, weighing in at only 4.6 lbs was a very healthy and happy little baby, and we were home in less than a week! In August 2009, Abner and I were shocked/nervous/excited to discover, we would soon have our handfuls with two babies! The Lord blessed us this year with another healthy pregnancy, about a month ago, we discovered we will be adding a baby boy to the family, and couldn’t be happier!!! Baby’s expected arrival is April 27, 2010, but we know, that God’s plan may be different, and plan to be ready and prepared this time!

This summer we had our first family road trip to Nebraska, and it was a great success!! Kaylee was an absolute angel the whole time and we had a blast with all of our relatives.

There are so many things to mention that the God blessed us with this year and we couldn’t be more grateful. If it was not for his never-ending love and compassion, we would not be where we are today! He is our rock and our foundation, and without him we are nothing. So for this year past, and this year present and all of the things to come, I want to foremost thank our Creator and Savior, for only He is worthy of all the praises, Thank You God!! My prayer is that God be with us and with you all in this 2010 and that all of your dreams, goals and prayers become a reality!

We got together at our house this year to bid farewell to 2009 and greet 2010. Josh, Mary and family and Mak, Aime and girls, and Nando and Anais joined us. We had a full day of games, food, and great memory-making moments! Thanks guys for coming to join us! Here are a couple pictures from the night.

So as many of you may recall…Abner and I had a heck of a time coming up and actually agreeing on a name for our baby girl. In the end, literally, b/c it was two weeks before she was born, we decided on the perfect one, Kaylee Elise. Well, this time around, with our baby boy, things are exactly the same, we just can’t seem to agree! He is set in stone that the baby’s name has to be Abner, however, I do NOT like the acronyms that will come along with it, Jr, A.j., Little Abner, etc…we finally agreed that we would name him Abner, but with a different middle name so we can call him by him by that. Well, here’s the problem…we can’t decide on a middle name, so we would really appreciate YOUR help and input on the matter. There are two names that we like, they are Alexander and Kaleb. I like Kaleb Eli (Eli is Abner’s middle name), however, it doesn’t have the name Abner in it. I also love the name, Kaleb Alexander, but we run into the same problem. So we have come up with a couple different options….what do you think?? Leave a comment and give your input!

3. Abner Alexander Garza (calling him Alex)

Any other ideas would be helpful too!!

Kaylee is getting so good at her crawling, she doesn’t do a full hands and knees crawl yet, but she is improving daily. We took this video today while at Mike and Yenni’s house and was too cute to pass up not posting. She is definitely getting faster and better everyday and we are sooo proud of our baby girl! Of course I sped up the video a bit so it wouldn’t take so long to view. Just wanted to show you guys her improvement. We also discovered today that her two bottom teeth are breaking gum and are starting to come in…she’s still doing great though, and not acting up at all, I pray she continue to do so well with her teething!
