After being sick for a few days, and just really not acting like herself, I was soooo grateful to hear this beautiful little giggle again! I know that this little laugh can make anybody smile, and that’s why I love this girl sooo much!!

The verdict is in….Abner and I are very proud and extremely happy to announce, our next little bundle of joy is going to be a….BOY!!!! As the ultrasound tech swirled his magic wand around my belly and said “this is what your having right here…it’s got little boy parts!” Abner’s reaction could not have been more honest, unique and oh so cute, he lifted his hands in the air and shouted, “WOOHOO!!!!!” I think they might have heard him all the way down the hall way, it was the cutest thing ever
Needless to say, although Abner loves our Kaylee Elise more than words could describe, he is absolutely extatic to know that he will finally have his little man. Dr says that baby and everything surrounding him looks absolutely perfect, couldn’t be better. Baby is weighing in at 356 grams, or about 12 oz which is pretty typical for babies at this age. His heart rate is at 136 beats per minute. Thank You GOD for this wonderful miracle inside of me who I have been feeling squirming around now for about two weeks, it’s absolutely incredible! Now we just have to come up with a name….Abner wants A.J…..but I’m not too sure….

Who would have thought that this beautiful little old lady would reach the age of 94 today!!! God has blessed us with an amazing grandma who is sooo stinken cute, just look at her! Although she has moved to be in Texas now, and we don’t see her very often, she is still always in our thoughts and prayers. Always making us laugh, and always “needing” to know everything about everybody, she is one of the best grandmas ever! I thank God for her everyday. She is 94 years old today, and God only knows how many more birthdays she will spend with us here on earth. Even though we wish our grandpa could be here to spend this day with her, we know he’s in a better place now. Oh how I really wish I could be there to spoil her on her special day today, I know that my aunts and uncles will do a good job of it! My beautiful baby girl is growing soooo fast!!!! Today, I felt like such a proud mom Now, it may not be very interesting to many of you, but to me, these things she did today are huge milestones! I bought her some “gerber puffs” today, and it was so cute the way she was “chewing” them and then swallowing. Yea, they actually do melt in her mouth, but she got that whole chewing thing down quick! Then, as I was letting her taste my cheetos, I noticed she was kind of sucking on it, so I gave her some water with a straw, and low and behold, she was sucking the water through a straw!! I’m sooo proud of her, our first attempt at using a straw, and she did awesome, hurray! She also seemed to progress a little in her “crawling/rolling.” She’s super fast at rolling, which is why I think she has gotten used to it, and she just won’t attempt to try and crawl, but today she did make an effort! Of course, we had to block her from rolling, but she did manage to pull her self forward a little; we’ll keep practicing with her.

One last thing, I just had to post this picture. As I walked into her room yesterday morning, more asleep then awake, I couldn’t help but start laughing very loudly when I saw Kaylee. She apparently was too hot in the night and tried to remove her shirt! She’s such a cutie patutie! I love her so much

Have I mentioned how much I absolutely LOVE to be pregnant on Thanksgiving?! Obviously, right? Considering I was pregnant last thanksgiving…I’m pregnant now, I think I’m seeing a pattern….lol. Anyways, today we got together with the Garza Clan, and boy did we eat!! I gotta say, Martha, you did an AMAZING job with all the food, it was absolutely delicious! And, believe me, I’m not just saying it to be nice…I would have just not posted anything if I really didn’t like it We had great food, great company, and an exceptionally great time! Ben and Martha are always just great hosts, thanks guys! I know Martha, we may give you a lot of crap sometimes about having too much food, but why lie, I love it After we had dinner, watch a movie and had “togetherness” with the Garzas, we went over to the Ozuna’s house (Mike and Yenni) for a couple games with them and the Zayas. These two were also great times! We always have a blast when we come over to their house, it’s nice to hang out with family, and you know they’ll always be there for you, but it’s especially nice to know you have friends who are like family, who will also always be there! We are truly blessed to have each of you a part of our lives. It’s common for people to say they are thankful for friends and family, but it’s just so true, this is one of our greatest treasures! Where would we be, first of all without God, and second of all, without our family and friends, these are our supports and rocks. Thank you to everybody who has become a part of our families’ life. It’s nice to know that people care and in exchange, we too care for you guys very much! Hope everyone had a great and thankful thanksgiving today!
Before I go…I must say, I am very, very, very thankful for the two turkeys that lost their lives these holidays! It just would NOT be the same without you guys at our dinner tables. May the Lord bless you and be with you in Turkey Heaven You sure where delicious!!!!!! (Pictures to come later)
