Well, I know it’s a little early, but I couldn’t wait. Although my brother “warned” me that it was “illegal” to put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, and my husband thought I was crazy, I couldn’t take it anymore, I had to put up my Christmas tree and decorations. I’m super excited. I was unable to set it up last year b/c we were on vacation in Mexico, I’m not complaining, I’m just saying, I couldn’t go another day without taking out my tree. It took me several hours over two or three days to complete it, but it’s finally done, all it needs now are Kaylee’s Christmas gifts underneath!! Here it is, my pride and joy of my decorations…my Christmas Tree!!! Of course I had to include a picture of my beautiful baby girl that makes me tree look waaaaay nicer!!! She’s so gorgeous, sitting there all by herself!

Now, I know what many of you are thinking, that a Christmas tree is not the reason for the season, and trust me, I am very well aware of that! I know we celebrate the birthday of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and I couldn’t be happier. This is just my way of showing everybody that I do celebrate CHRISTmas, and I am very blessed to have him in my life. Thank you Lord for answered prayers today and always You are so amazing, and my life would be completely empty if it were not for you, Te Amo MI Dios!!!

Yup, it’s true my parents have officially hit the road to Mexico once again! As sad as it may be, I’m glad they get to take this time to be with their mothers and extended family. I love my parents for who they are, for all they do for us, and I wouldn’t change them for the world! A hallmark greeting card once said, if God would have let me choose my parents, I would have chosen YOU from all the rest! And let me tell you, that is the honest truth!
We got together for an early thanksgiving dinner before they left and here are some pictures we took all together. May I add, the dinner was delicious, thanks to EVERYBODY who cooked! I only took the soda and cups
Anyways, wherever you are mom and dad, remember that we love you guys and will miss you very much, but also remember to have fun!!!

So for all you expert mothers out there, I need some advice…I can’t get Kaylee to sleep through the night without waking up at least twice, once for feeding. She’s going to be 7 months next week, and I’m not sure if I’m just expecting too much too soon, or if she should be sleeping through the night. I can’t really let her “cry it out” because Nando is living in the room right next to hers, and would probably keep him awake up all night, and I would prefer not to bring her into my room b/c she would keep Abner up all night, and he has to work early too. I try feeding her right before she goes to bed, and sometimes she’ll go about 6 hours without waking, but most nights, she’s up within 4 hours, and 4 hours after that. She usually sleeps a total of about 9 hours a night, but that doesn’t count the times she’s waking up. Anyways….any suggestions??

Kaylee and I LOVE weekends! Why? Because Daddy gets to spend all day with us!!! Kaylee is absolutely in love with her daddy, and is so excited everytime they play together. As you can see in this video, Kaylee was just having a ball as her daddy was playing with her, she was all giggles. She is about 6 1/2 months now, and is just so much fun to have around. She is the biggest joy in our lives, we couldn’t be any happier and more in love with our baby girl! Thank you God for lending her to us. On October 21st, at just about 13 weeks, we got to hear Baby #2’s heartbeat for the very first time! And just as exciting as it was to hear Kaylee’s heartbeat, we were very anxious to listen in on God’s new creation. The heartbeat was a bit faster than Kaylee’s was, but most people say, the faster it is, the more likely it is to be a girl! So according to an old folks tale….we’re having another girl! Although, Abner begs to differ, we will hopefully find out December 9, 2009, as that is our scheduled ultrasound. God is doing great things in our family and we are very excited for this new bundle of joy that will hopefully join our family sometime in April. As always, prayers are always welcome!
